Sales and Marketing for "You"

I finally understand what you mean by "you" and why you have called your website sales-and-marketing-for-you. At first glance, it would seem to indicate me, the reader, but know I see that what you mean is that we should be targetting everything we do towards "you" who is our customer.
I think that you are absolutely right in that sales and marketing can generally be broken into 2 camps: those companies and individuals that focus on themselves and those that focus on their customers. By and large, it is the latter who will succeed and become exceptional sales and marketing organizations.
Companies and individuals that focus on themselves talk a lot about "we", "me", "I" and "us" whereas those folks who are more focused on their customers talk about, well, "you"! What a simple concept and what a good way to make sure that we are aligning our efforts where they should be which is towards our customer. If you use the word "you" then you can be sure that your message is going to hit its target (or at least, it pointed in the right direction!).
