I have got to say that this is one of the most intense sales and marketing articles I have ever read! It should belong in a textbook on philosophy or ethics!!

That being said, I have to say that you have a real knack for connecting such profound concepts in such a simple manner. I really enjoy reading your writing.

I totally understand what you are saying here, that all sales and marketing is, really, is being able to identify the emotional "hot buttons" of your customers.

At the end of the day, everything we do boils down to the human emotions that we all share and sales and marketing is no different. I have found that the best sales and marketing professionals are those that relate to people the best and are most personable. You can only do that by really trying to understand the motivations of the other person and trying to serve them.
